Posted on 30 Sep 2011 in Powersports | 0 comments

As has become customary at Dennis Kirk, each month we host a new contest on Facebook. The Sons of Anarchy Trivia for the month of September went down very well and we wanted to keep the momentum going. We have named our contest for October, “Next Generation”. We’re all enthusiastic about powersports of some kind, be it Motorcycles, ATV’s, Dirt Bikes or Snowmobiles and let’s face it, we all want our kids to grow up with a passion for the sport too. The “Next Generation Rider” contest is all about that. Show us how proud you are of your kids by posting a photo of them on yours or their own rides, or even just dressed up in the gear. You have until October 24th to post […]

Posted on 12 Sep 2011 in ATV and UTV, Powersports, Snowmobile | 2 comments

Last weekend was Minnesota’s annual Haydays Grass Drags gathering held a few miles East of North Branch in small town “Sunrise, MN”. Each year around 30,000 snowmobile, ATV and general powersports enthusiasts hit the town for a a couple days of drag racing and freestyle contests. This year was the second year that the event was held in Sunrise and the organizers did a much better job of dealing with the hoards of spectators embarking on the small town. Parking was funneled into a few locations making for a less congested approach to the event grounds. The weather was super hot for a September weekend but all made the most of it and had a great time all the same. Of course Dennis Kirk was present and […]

Things to try when the SOA Poll App doesn’t work

Posted on 06 Sep 2011 in Powersports | 0 comments

Apologies for the technical difficulties that some of you may be experiencing with the Sons Of Anarchy Poll App. Unfortunately, this is largely out of our control since we didn’t build to the app. The reason that the app sometimes doesn’t work is because of the connection speed from the app to Facebook is sometimes too slow from when you select the answer to the app logging it, this makes it produce the error “Error while loading page from poll. Empty response received.” If you get this error, there are a few things you could try: Change the URL in your web browser address bar from https:// to http:// (i.e., remove the “s”), then try again Try accessing the page and voting from your smartphone, make sure […]
