The Polaris Ranger RZR.  This machine didn’t start the side x side performance craze, but it certainly brought it to a whole new level.  The RZR really is impressive, but like all stock machines, it can be made even better.  The big question is, where do you start?  There are many different things that you can do to your machine, but some will give you better performance gains over others. Of course, a totally modded engine with a big bore kit will give you more power, but there are easier (and cheaper) ways to gain more performance out of your RZR.  By upgrading your machine’s clutches, exhaust, fuel mixture and even tires, you can make dramatic changes.  Plus, upgrades to each of those areas can be done […]

The exhaust is a focal point for any motorcycle, but more often than not, the stock pipes are pretty boring looking.  That’s why there are so many options for aftermarket exhausts out there.  Swapping out your exhaust can be a costly upgrade to make, especially if you’re just looking for looks and not performance.  But fear not, you can dress up those boring pipes that are already on your bike and create a whole new look.  Plus, it will most likely cost you a lot less than a new set of pipes so you can spend more on gas. Another plus side of dressing up your pipes is that you’re likely not going to see many others like yours, especially if you do more than one of […]

Set up your ATV to breathe in the deep stuff Just like you, your ATV can’t breathe underwater (or mud).  But there is still a way that you can play in the deep stuff.  Snorkels allow air to enter and exit the engine, even when it is fully submerged.  Many handy guys can build their own snorkel kits with PVC pipe, hoses and fitting to save on money.  If you’re not so handy, or you just want something that is specifically made for your machine, there are a few companies like High Lifter that make model specific kits.  The model specific kits are the easiest and probably the most effective way to submarine your machine. Each wheeler will have its own specific needs for snorkeling.  That’s where […]

Over the past couple of years, Küryakyn has gone through a bit of a renaissance by launching a few all new product lines, including Bahn, Crusher and Xkürsion luggage.  Of course, they are still producing their core products like the Iso line and all of their chrome goodies.  That’s what makes Küryakyn so great.  They design and create solid products that just plain work, yet they never stop innovating to create something else to make your ride better. The Xkürsion line of motorcycle luggage may be new now, but it is sure to become one of the staples of the Küryakyn offering that sticks around for good.  There was a lot of creative thought that must have gone into the design of this luggage to produce all […]

You might not think about independent suspension when you think about motorcycles, at least not yet.  The seat manufacturer Danny Gray is hoping to change that.  No, they are not venturing out to revolutionize actual motorcycle suspensions.  They are, however, integrating a new “Independent Suspension Technology” into their motorcycle seats.  The new Danny Gray IST line of seats are set to become the most comfortable option to reduce vibrations for all day riding comfort. Danny Gray custom motorcycle seats first became popular because of their outstanding looks.  Over these past few years, the mindset of the Danny Gray designers has moved more towards creating a stylish seat that is extremely comfortable, though.  First were the seats integrated with AirHawk technology and now with the IST line of […]
